FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image caskets, urns and other funerary products, today announced that its management team has launched a program to acquire outstanding shares of its stock on the open market.
According to Eternal Image CEO Clint Mytych, the program began yesterday (October 18), a day that saw more than 28 million Eternal Image shares traded, making the company one of the most active micro-cap stocks of the day. The company has outstanding 3.2 billion shares of common stock.
“This is a case where our management team feels our stock is clearly undervalued. The situation offers us a strong opportunity to reinvest in ourselves,” said Mytych. “We believe these actions will strengthen the company and the stock over the long term.”
The move comes as Eternal Image returns from a highly successful trip to the National Funeral Directors Association Expo held in Las Vegas last week.
“We might have launched this effort a few days ago but we have been processing the somewhat overwhelming number of calls and inquiries we received at and after the show. The launch of our newest lines – STAR TREK™ and Collegiate Licensing Corporation™ – as well as the expansion of our core lines into new products has kept the phones ringing,” added Mytych.
Eternal Image, founded in 2002, is headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI. The company is the first and only major manufacturer and marketer of licensed brand image funerary products. Some of the First Licensed Schools Include Purdue, Southern Methodist, West Point, LSU, Arkansas, Texas Tech and Syracuse
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image funerary products such as caskets and urns, today announced it has executed an agreement to design, manufacture and market a line of university branded funeral products across the United States. The line will include collector-quality urns, caskets, markers/memorials and vaults.
"This agreement came about because we were called by a university that wanted to expand its offerings to its alumni with a higher quality product and had learned about Eternal Image through the marketing of some of our other lines," said Clint Mytych, CEO Eternal Image. "Our subsequent discussions with Collegiate Licensing Company expanded the opportunity to other colleges and universities, and here we are with several licensing agreements that form the bedrock of what we anticipate will be a long-term relationship with institutions of higher learning."
Universities rely on alumni investment through donations and the marketing of memorabilia to help fund operations, scholarships and endowments. It is estimated that the retail market for collegiate licensed products will surpass $3 billion in 2007. Royalties from the sale of these diverse products support many university initiatives including scholarships, operations and athletic departments.
"The market for collegiate licensed products has expanded a great deal over the past ten years," said Missy Peterson, CLC's Non-Apparel Marketing Coordinator. "It has been gratifying to see the growth in product offerings and distribution channels. For many individuals, the collegiate experience is the foundation of their post-graduate life and their affinity for their university lasts a lifetime - and beyond."
EI expects the university category to grow greatly in the coming years.
"Colleges are seeking to offer graduates high-quality products and professional services, and we have the expertise they need," said Mytych. "Not only do we expect our relationship with CLC to expand, we are speaking with schools - some of them major universities - that do not currently have representation but are interested in offering similar products to their own alumni."
Building Q, a licensing and marketing firm headquartered in Medford, New Jersey, represented Eternal Image in the acquisition of the license.

“The completion of the audit is the most important step to date in our path to moving up to the OTC Bulletin Board,” said Jim Parliament, CFO, Eternal Image. “It is a very exciting time for us. The audit process was long – probably longer than anyone thought it might be – but that is what sometimes happens to young companies on their first audits. With the audit behind us, we are ready to take our next steps.”
Parliament added that Eternal Image expects to file the Form 10SB soon. Sometime thereafter, once it has been reviewed and has cleared comments by the SEC, the company expects to be approved for trading on the OTC Bulletin Board.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of official brand-name caskets and urns, today announced that it has received permission from the Cat Fanciers' Association(TM) to expand its licensing agreement. The company, which is currently developing a cremation urn to feature the CFA logo will now be able to extend its agreement into memorial stones.
A recent survey showed that twenty-two percent of cat owners said they would purchase a memorial stone for the home or yard, to commemorate a pet's death," said Clint Mytych, president of Eternal Image. "Cat owners tend to own more than one cat at a time, and we expect that the stones will be a very popular and meaningful way to affordably remember each beloved pet separately."
Eternal Image's CFA urn design is currently in the first development stage. Additional information about this product will be available later this spring. The company also recently announced it will be expanding its agreement with the American Kennel Club(TM) to also include memorial stones.

In other news, audit process nears completion
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image brand name caskets and urns, today announced it has arranged for private placement funding from a New York based private investment firm.
"The infusion of more than $1.2 million means we can accelerate our production and fill a growing backlog of orders, and we can continue to work to add new licenses to our roster," said Clint Mytych, CEO Eternal Image. "In addition, we will now be able to meet the next phase of forecasted demand."
This investment partnership will prevent a future upset in control of the company. Eternal Image management reports that they have already fielded calls from competitors and investment firms. The Company's legal counsel and SEC advisory counsel strongly suggested reorganizing the current share structure to simultaneously accommodate this funding and protect the Company from a hostile takeover.
"Under the current share structure, Eternal Image management controls less than 20% of the total Authorized Shares and the Company as a result is incredibly vulnerable," says Jim Parliament, CFO of Eternal Image. "The Company needs to increase its total Authorized Shares to provide enough Preferred Voting Stock to prevent any unwanted aggressive and predatory action in the open market against the Company," Jim went on to say.
The transaction will raise the authorized share level to 5.8 billion from 2.74 billion. Approximately two billion of the newly created stock is Restricted Preferred Voting Stock. This is not counted against the Total Outstanding Shares, and is registered as such that it only comes into play during a hostile takeover or buyout attempt. Much of the remaining shares will be distributed as Restricted stock to the investment firm responsible for this funding, as well as other Eternal Image managers who comprise the Company-held majority.
"This private placement investment is timed to help Eternal Image reach self-sufficiency as we begin the process of positioning the company to move to the OTC BB," Clint Mytych continued. "The time to set aside this block of Preferred Voting Stock is now, and Eternal Image is adequately protected to thwart any hostile market activity that may be taken against it."
In related news, the company continues to work toward the completion of its financial audit. According to Parliament, the process has included a regular flow of information back-and-forth between the company, its accounting firm and the audit firm. "As anyone who has ever been through an audit knows, it is a process of questions and answers, and it just takes as long as it takes. Everyone's first concern is accuracy. We expect it to conclude shortly."
Eternal Image plans to announce the results of the audit by news release and post documentation on its website, www.eternalimage.net, within 24 hours of receipt.

First Shipment Anticipated In 4Q
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image caskets and urns, today announced that the Cat Fanciers' Association(TM) (CFA) has approved the design of the company's newest product, a pet cremation urn that pays homage to cats. The approval clears the way for Eternal Image to begin the engineering and tooling phases of the production process and the first shipment is anticipated for the end of 2007.

"In many ways this is one of the most distinctive, artistic products we have offered to date, and we commend the Cat Fanciers' Association for their partnership in developing this design. We are confident this exclusive design will be exactly what cat owners are looking for to pay tribute to their lost pet," said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image.
Owners can have a cat's name engraved on a plaque attached to the urn. In addition, a picture of the pet can be placed on the front of the urn in a photo frame. The face of the urn also features the CFA logo in distinctive black and white lettering.
"Cat owners today feel the same reverence toward their cats that the ancient Egyptians felt in their time, and many have sought a way to honor their pets' memories," said a spokesperson for the Cat Fanciers' Association. "This urn strikes the perfect balance between form and function, and we are pleased that Eternal Image is making it available."
Pet owners have had few options when it came to purchasing an urn or memorial product for their animals. The alternative was to buy a funerary product made for human remains that does not reflect the life of the pet they were honoring. Eternal Image changed this is late 2006 when it released its first pet product, an American Kennel Club(TM) urn for dogs. It was an immediate hit: the first shipment of the AKC urn was more than 50% pre-sold before it reached the U.S.; the reorder has been selling steadily this summer.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image caskets and urns, today announced that it has been granted the rights to manufacture and market Major League Baseball(TM) (MLB(TM)) urns, caskets, vaults and monuments in Canada and Puerto Rico. This is an extension of the original agreement which covers the United States.
"During the last two years we have worked to build a strong relationship with MLB(TM)," said Clint Mytych, president of Eternal Image (EI). "When we approached MLB with the request to add Canada and Puerto Rico to our portfolio, they agreed, as both are baseball strongholds. It is an exciting opportunity for us."
EI is rolling out the product line in the US and will make it available simultaneously in the Canada and Puerto Rico. The first group of urns, available now, includes the reigning World Series Champions, St. Louis Cardinals, as well as the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies. The next four teams to be released in the fall of 2007 include the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox and New York Mets. The remaining teams will be added in 2008.
Eternal Image products must be purchased from local funeral homes. The company plans to add distributors in Canada and Puerto Rico shortly. Until then funeral homes can obtain product directly from Eternal Image.

Specialty Branded Plaques Will Be Free to Families of Athletes
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand image caskets and urns, today announced the production of new name plates to recognize former and current professional athletes.
The plaques are black engraved with eternal gold lettering. They will be available to athletes and team employees of Eternal Images' current and future line of sports team urns. Other teams will be offered as products become available. This special engraved plaque can be requested by funeral homes across the country. Eternal Image will provide the specialty plaque at no charge to all athletes' families.
The creation of the new name plates became essential after a Georgia funeral home requested an Eternal Image urn for former New York third baseman, Clete Boyer. Boyer was presumably the first professional athlete to be interred in an Eternal Image product. The company recognized the original gold plaque created for lifelong fans would not be appropriate for athletes or team employees. This required Eternal Image to create a brand new name plate to memorialize athletes for their dedication to the game.

Multiple Distributors Currently Displaying Eternal Image Branded Products
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand image caskets and urns, today announced plans for the formation of a new company in Europe with partner Remeire Ltd., a specialist European casket, urn and funeral goods company.
The new company will be called Eternal Image Europe and will be jointly owned by Eternal Image USA and Remeire Ltd. of Ireland. Both companies will develop the new business model. Remeire will provide all funding and European sales efforts while Eternal Image, Inc. (USA) will provide operational, manufacturing and licensing direction.
Remeire is an international customer focused casket and funeral supply company operating in Europe and North America. The agreement between Eternal Image and Remeire allows for a formal strategic alliance based on a letter of intent executed earlier in the year. The new company will design, manufacture and market current and future Eternal Image products in Europe.
Plans call for the CEO of the new company to be John Finlay, whose family has been involved in the funeral sector for five generations. Clint Mytych, president of Eternal Image, will sit on the board of directors of Eternal Image Europe.
"We have been actively seeking an alliance with a European partner that would protect our licensed images as if they were their own," said Mytych. "John Finlay (owner of Remeire, Ltd.) is offering us that kind of partnership. We are looking forward to delivering on the promise of global reach." John Finlay is a specialist in international business development in the funeral sector and is a graduate of IMD, Babson College and Trinity College, Dublin with an MSc in International Business Management.
Under the agreement Eternal Image would facilitate Remeire with regard to the licensing rights to one or more of its lines of caskets and urns. Certain European licensing projects would also be facilitated for the new company. Remeire would manage sales, and distribution of the line(s) throughout Europe. Eternal Image, Inc. (USA) will also have the opportunity to distribute select licensed products from Eternal Image Europe in the United States.
"As a company specializing in funeral and memorial products and with a wide established partnership network in Europe, we have been looking for an opportunity like this for some time. We believe that a strategic alliance with Eternal Image presents both companies with enormous opportunities to broaden our respective product lines and market spread. When I visited the EI management team in Michigan it became clear very quickly that our companies could work together. In essence we share a common vision for the future of funeral product design," said Finlay.
The two companies also plan to explore collaboration regarding the acquisition, design, manufacture and marketing of European brands.

Production Begins Ahead of Schedule to Meet DemandFARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image caskets and urns, today announced that Major League Baseball™ has approved the next four urn designs for the MLB™ branded funerary product line. The new designs include the Baltimore Orioles, Cleveland Indians, Chicago White Sox and New York Mets.
“We are placing these urns into production about four months earlier than planned based on the amazing reception the first wave received,” said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image. “The first order of those first eight urns sold out; the second order is more than 65% committed before it has even reached the US – and fans beyond those first eight teams are clamoring for us to produce ‘their’ teams. We selected these four teams based on the waiting lists from our website – these are the next group of most requested clubs.”
The initial urn line includes eight MLB™ teams (Yankees, Red Sox, Cardinals, Braves, Cubs, Tigers, Phillies and Dodgers). Corresponding caskets are in production for those eight teams and will be available late this year. Caskets featuring the four newest clubs will join the line late in 2007 as well. Urns and caskets featuring the balance of 18 teams will launch in late 2007 and through 2008.
Each Major League Baseball™ urn is hand-designed using die-cast aluminum with proprietary clear coat finish and sits atop a Home Plate-shaped base outlined in black. Each also features a baseball display dome at the top in which a favorite collectible baseball can be presented. MLB™ caskets are crafted from Eternal Image’s proprietary composite and decorated with various woods and metals. Like the urns, each casket is instantly recognizable for the team after which it is designed. The supple interior fabric features the team logo and colors for the pillow and fabric trim.

The call, attended by more than 215 people, was led by Jim Parliament, the company's chief financial officer.
Topics discussed included results of first quarter sales, product manufacturing updates, the status of the company's previously announced stock buy-back plans and more.
During the call Parliament announced that projected sales for FY2007 are $3.1 million. He anticipated sales to grow to $17-$20 million annually within three-to-four years.
On behalf of the company Parliament noted that:

- Once the audit is complete the company will likely begin its stock buy-back.
- Distribution agreements now include 14 companies covering 27 states. Two additional agreements are being considered at this time and the company continues to seek distribution partners in open states, particularly California.

- EI is proactively seeking a strategic alliance in Europe.
- The company will be attending the National Funeral Directors Association Expo in October in Las Vegas and plans to have a trade show booth on the main Expo floor.
Parliament also showcased the casket designs for two of the first eight Major League Baseball(TM)-branded caskets: the Detroit Tigers and the New York Yankees. North America's Leading Burial Vault Manufacturer Partners with EI
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand caskets and urns, today announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. of Broadview, Illinois, the largest vault manufacturer and marketer in the world. Under the agreement, which begins June 1, Eternal Image will manufacture baseball appliques and plaques to be used by Wilbert Funeral Services as a component in their vault products.
Wilbert provides premium burial vaults and urn vaults with ever-increasing choices for memorial customization. Wilbert products represent one of the most recognized brands among North American funeral directors and families.
"Wilbert always strives to serve families with the richest range of choices for tributes with greater personal meaning," said Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc. President Jim Curran. "Love of sport is a defining trait of the American spirit, and our partnership with Eternal Image helps us add even more truth and color to the passion that was felt during a life well lived."
Earlier today EI had announced that it has received permission from Major League Baseball(TM) to expand its licensing agreement. The company, which already produces funeral urns and caskets featuring Major League Baseball(TM) team logos and colors, is now extending its agreement into vault and monument lines.
"Vaults represent an area of huge potential growth for us, and our best case scenario - that we partner with the leader in this industry - has come to fruition with this agreement," said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image. "More than 500,000 burial vaults were sold last year and not one featured a licensed image. This is a wide open opportunity for us."
Currently Eternal Image is launching its Major League Baseball(TM) urn line with the first eight urns in the series. These will be followed by products featuring with 12 more teams at the end of 2007 and the balance of 10 teams in 2008. The casket line will roll out beginning with the same eight teams in the fall of 2007 with groups of 12 and 10 caskets following about every six months.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of customized designer caskets and urns, today announced that it has received permission from Major League Baseball(TM) to expand its licensing agreement. The company, which already produces funeral urns and caskets featuring Major League Baseball(TM) team logos and colors will now be able to extend its agreement into vault and monument lines.
"There is tremendous growth potential in the areas of monuments and vaults, and we have been working toward adding these categories to our product line for some time," said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image. "This agreement positions us as the sole provider of Major League Baseball(TM) themed funeral products across all platforms."
Within the funeral industry, the vaults and monuments category is experiencing tremendous growth - more than a million of each were sold last year. However, until now, licensed brand images have not appeared in the mass production of vaults and monuments, providing an opportunity for Eternal Image to again move the funeral industry forward into new areas of marketing.
Eternal Image is currently launching its Major League Baseball(TM) urn line. FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand image caskets and urns, today announced that Major League Baseball™ has approved an additional seven casket designs for the upcoming MLB™ casket line. The seven new designs include the reigning World Series Champions, St. Louis Cardinals as well as the Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies. The organization approved the first design – for the Chicago Cubs – last month.
“With this approval, our design and production schedule for this line remains on schedule,” said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image. “We look forward to bringing these products to market late this summer.”

According to Nick Popravsky, vice president of sales and marketing, "The reach is actually much greater, as most of the major metropolitan areas of the United States are covered by our current distributors. And for funeral homes not covered by a distributor, we continue to provide direct ordering and shipping services so that there is no gap in availability."
Monarch Resources was founded in 1980 by Tom and Sandy McGrew as a medical supply company that expanded into the funeral industry in 1991. Today the company's sole focus is on providing funeral homes and mortuaries with supplies and equipment, including lines from Ferno, Halo, Church & Chapel, Chancellor Pew Chairs, Ward Mfg. Pews and Durma-Pro Mortuary Cosmetics.
"Our goal is to provide products to our customers that help attract the public, and this line of Eternal Image licensed image urns and caskets is new, interesting and could prove very helpful to funeral homes," said Tom McGrew, president of Monarch Resources.
Monarch Resources delivers or ships to almost 2000 customers from coast to coast and the Caribbean from an in-stock inventory of more than 1500 individual items directly related to the funeral industry. The company is particularly proud of the fact that this inventory allows it to ship stock items on the day the order is received (before noon CST) or within 24 hours at the latest. FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image caskets and urns, today announced that it has signed an agreement with the company Dog.com to distribute the American Kennel Club(TM) line of pet urns on its website and in its catalogs.
Dog.com is one of the country's largest marketers of dog products - more than 10,000 at any given time. The company markets to kennels, groomers, dog trainers, show dog owners and home pet owners. More than 25,000 consumers visit the Dog.com site daily.
"Our customers truly care for their animals from cradle to grave, and their relationships with their animals make their pets members of their families," said Dr. Alexander Tabibi, CEO of Dog.com. "Over the years non-descript pet urns have proven a less-than-favorable solution because they do not reflect the love and devotion created by the relationship. These AKC(TM) urns are a marvelous way to honor that relationship and we believe they will do well with our audience."
Founded in 1969, Dog.com is based in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. At the company customer service is paramount: orders received by 2:00 p.m. ship the same day; most orders ship within 24 hours.
"Dog.com has a tremendous reputation with dog industry professionals and owners and is an excellent fit for our AKC(TM) product line," said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image. "The line itself has been very well received and pre-orders have been strong; our agreement with Dog.com will only strengthen sales."
A fond way to remember man's best friend
The AKC(TM) urns are crafted from burnished copper and bronze die-cast aluminum. The base has a highly-polished clear coat finish that offers the appearance of wood. The AKC(TM) logo is embossed on the face of the metal casing and a photo window has been designed into the top of the urn so that the owner can insert a favorite photo of the pet. On the base are fittings for a customized metallic nameplate provided with the urn.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC: ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand image caskets and urns, today announced that it has nearly sold-out its first run of Major League Baseball(TM) urns through pre-orders by distributors and funeral homes.
"Our pre-orders have been so strong that we have begun the next production run of the first eight urns a full two months early," said Clint Mytych. "We expect our next order to be available to distributors and funeral homes in mid-May - and we have more than doubled the production of the initial order."
Eternal Image has just begun filling orders for the first run of urns to distributors and funeral homes this month.

It will continue to take orders for the line as well as its other lines on the company's website (www.eternalimage.net)
The urn line includes eight MLB(TM) Clubs (Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies, and St. Louis Cardinals). Urns and caskets featuring the balance of 22 teams will launch in late 2007 and through 2008.

Direct Mail, Print Advertising, Website and PR Come Together to Reach Catholics Nationwide
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC: ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand image caskets and urns, today announced it is launching a direct marketing program designed to saturate the Catholic marketplace with information about its new line of Vatican Library Collection(TM) urns.
The direct mail program is directed at nearly 42,000 Catholic priests, parishes and diocese; as well as Catholic cemeteries, hospitals and nursing homes. It will begin mailing at the end of this month and reach the vast majority of U.S. outlet in these categories.
The direct mail piece is part of a coordinated launch program that includes print advertising in Catholic Digest Magazine and similar outlets. A public relations outreach program to Catholic media is resulting in interviews on radio programs and in print directed at these markets.
"Our goal is simple: if you are Catholic we want you to know about the Vatican Library Collection(TM) funerary products from Eternal Image," said Nick Popravsky, vice president of sales and marketing for EI. "The response to the line has been very strong, and we feel that as more core customers learn about it the volume can only continue to grow."
EI is currently seeking to expand its distribution overseas under its global licensing agreement. The agreement with Vatican Library Collection(TM) allows EI to market worldwide and the company is working to establish international distribution and expects to announce more details in the second quarter of this year.
In addition, EI's newly renovated website includes a complete section about the line. It can be found at www.eternalimage.net.
Proceeds of the sale of each urn (and, later this year, each casket) benefit the famed Vatican Library, a historical collection of more than two million printed works. Until very recently the special collection, established by Pope Nicholas in 1451 within the Vatican, was protected with such dedication that only a handful of scholars have had access. Today the collection, its artifacts spanning 2000 years, is becoming visible to a wider audience.
Eternal Image remains committed to growing its line of licensed-brand funeral products. For more information, visit http://www.eternalimage.net.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand name caskets and urns, today announced that it has exceeded its forecasted gross sales for February 2007 by 32-percent.
"We are pleased and encouraged to announce that our sales volume surpassed our February forecast by nearly a third," said Clint Mytych, president, Eternal Image. "These final figures will be disclosed to investors via financial reports available at www.pinksheets.com and on our own website at the end of the first quarter."
Eternal Image has been aggressively marketing its products through various trade and consumer publications as detailed in previous news releases. In addition, news coverage, such as a recent CBS News segment airing on affiliates around the US, has helped drive consumer recognition of the product.
"We will continue to market our products to funeral homes across the country, but an even stronger argument for carrying the brand name urns and caskets is being made by consumers who are saying 'we want choice,'" said Nick Popravsky, vice president of sales and marketing. "That is helping to drive funeral directors and distributors our way, and we believe it means we can expect even stronger sales in the months to come."

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--It was as a college student that Clint Mytych first had an idea for a company - one a supportive professor encouraged him to pursue. Five years later he is the CEO of Eternal Image, (OTC: ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand name caskets and urns that is generating both buzz and sales. So when he was asked to serve as a judge at the CEO Idea Pitch Competition at Grand Valley State University in Michigan, he saw an opportunity to encourage others on the same path of entrepreneurship.
Last evening the competition's final round included pitches from five students with diverse business ideas. Students had 90 seconds to convince the panel of the viability of an idea for a new company. While the contestants could distribute materials and samples, no electronic audio visual support was allowed.
"Being selected as and serving as a judge was a tremendous honor," said Mytych. "It was amazing to see the flow of great ideas. It brought back memories of when Eternal Image was just a concept and I was trying to get the attention of people who could help me turn it into a reality. It was my goal to show these students that dreams are attainable."
Idea pitches ranged from service related companies to new product concepts. Ms. Morrow had the winning idea to open a hookah lounge in downtown Grand Rapids and plans to do so following graduation.
Mytych founded Eternal Image (EI) in 2002. Today the company with a staff of five is headquartered in Farmington Hills, MI. EI is the first and leading manufacturer and marketer of licensed image funerary products. Currently, the company offers urns and caskets that feature licensed images from Major League Baseball(TM), Precious Moments® and the Vatican Library Collection(TM), as well as pet urns featuring the American Kennel Club(TM) and the Cat Fanciers' Association(TM). FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of brand name caskets and urns, announced last Friday that it had been profiled by CBS News as part of a two-part series on the changing funeral industry. The story, developed by CBS Newspath*, began airing that evening on CBS affiliates around the country - setting off several frantic days at the Eternal Image office as company representatives handled inquiries by distributors, funeral homes and individuals that were generated by the piece.
"We came to the office Monday morning and the voicemail was full," said Clint Mytych, president of Eternal Image. "The interest in and acceptance of the news piece really shows how ready people are for more choice in funeral products. They want creative control of the process so that their own funeral or those of loved ones can really represent their passions in life."
As of Thursday at close of business, the company had more than 100 calls and emails. Many people asked to be placed on waiting lists for products that will become available later this quarter and during the summer.
To date, the piece has run in more than 40 markets as diverse as Los Angeles, Terre Haute (IN), Cleveland, Anchorage, Kansas City (MO), Rochester (NY), Greenville-Spartansburg (NC), Hartford-New Haven (CT), Tulsa (OK), Salt Lake City and dozens more. It continues to run at stations around the country.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image urns and caskets, today announced that it has been accepted for membership in the Cremation Association of North America (CANA), the recognized authority for information, education, products, services and support for cremation.
Founded in 1913, CANA is the largest organization of its kind and exists to actively promote and support the providers of cremation services and supplier relationships for cremation and memorialization. CANA members are dedicated to the highest standards of ethics, education and consumer information and pledge to encourage memorialization following cremation.
"Cremation is about choice, and Eternal Image is providing very progressive options to what we believe will be a welcoming public. We are very pleased Eternal Image has joined our organization and look forward to watching the company grow," said Jerry Sullivan, spokesperson for CANA.
CANA's research highlights the growing acceptance and use of cremation. In the early 1980s the rate of cremation was just reaching double digits. By 2000, the rate was 26.19% and in 2007 the anticipated rate is 27.81%.
"CANA is the leading organization in the fields of cremation and memorialization. Our acceptance for membership is validation of our approach toward providing personalized yet tasteful funeral products that fit the changing needs of society," said Clint Mytych, president of Eternal Image. "With a consistent annual growth rate of 8%, cremation has become a mainstream practice for more than a quarter of Americans."
Eternal Image first line of branded image urns debuted earlier this year featuring the Vatican Library Collection(TM). These will soon be followed (in mid-March) by the launch of the Major League Baseball urn line featuring eight MLB teams (with the additional 22 teams to be added in subsequent waves during the next 18-20 months.) Its line of Precious Moments urns debuts later this spring. Each brand will have a corresponding line of caskets available later this year.
The company also offers a line of American Kennel Club urns for pets that begin shipping in March. Pre-sales of the AKC line, available at AKC.com and Cherrybrook.com are moving well.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed brand image caskets and urns, today announced that it has completed a licensing agreement with the Cat Fanciers' Association. The not-for-profit organization was founded in 1906 and is the world's largest pedigreed cat and cattery (cat breeders) registration dedicated to the protection, care, and education of responsible cat ownership.
The multi-year agreement covers the development, manufacturing and marketing of pet urns. Under the terms of the licensing agreement, Eternal Image is authorized to create customized urns featuring the Cat Fanciers' Association logo. The product is currently in the design and development phase. Cat Fanciers' Association is represented for licensing and merchandising by 4Kids Entertainment.
"Pet owners have demonstrated a strong desire for access to brand-name funerary products for animals," said Clint Mytych, CEO of Eternal Image. "There was an immediate positive response, for example, when we announced our pre-order program for our American Kennel Club line that launches in March. Our goal has been to develop a sister line for cat owners, and we are very pleased that the prestigious Cat Fanciers' Association has chosen Eternal Image as a licensing partner."
Until very recently, pet owners had few options when it came to purchasing an urn. Many purchased products made for human remains, usually a generic, oversized item that did not reflect the life of the very pet they were honoring, or, so-called "pet urns" converted from human urns with painted murals or snap-on accessories.
"Americans spent nearly $40 billion on pets in 2006, and spending by owners on pets and pet supplies has doubled in the last decade," added Mytych. "There are 90.5 million owned cats in the United States alone. The time is clearly right for this line of products."

Proceeds from EI's Worldwide Licensing Agreement to Help Benefit Library
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eternal Image, Inc. (OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image caskets and urns, has begun delivering its first wave of Vatican Library Collection(TM) urns to distributors and funeral homes in the United States.
Response to the line in the US has been strong and the company is next seeking to expand its distribution overseas under its global licensing agreement.
"Our agreement allows us to market these products worldwide," said Clint Mytych, president of Eternal Image. "So, our next step is to establish international distribution for the line. The premise of supporting the Vatican Library Collection is one that our research shows will appeal to a broad base of Christians across all borders."
The company is meeting with distribution companies in the US and abroad as it sets a strategy for global distribution.
"We hope to have an announcement for international distribution plans in early 2007," added Mytych.
Proceeds of the sale of each urn (and, beginning in 2007, each casket) benefit the famed Vatican Library, a historical collection of more than two million printed works.
